5. Security Control Measures

For the security control of personal information, Acids takes the following measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.

(1) Internal Security Control Measures
Acids takes all necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the security of the personal information we handle, such as implementing mechanisms to protect information systems that handle personal data from unauthorized access by external parties and from malicious software.

(2) Supervision of employees
In order to ensure the security control of personal information that is handled by Acids employees (“employees” in this paragraph refers to directors, audit & supervisory board members, executive officers, and temporary employees as well as Acids employees), Acids will implement the necessary and appropriate supervision, including establishment of personal information handling rules for employees and internal recording systems, inspections of the state of personal information handling, and provision of training to employees.

(3) Supervision of outsource companies
In cases where the handling of personal information is to be outsourced in whole or in part, Acids will conclude the necessary contracts with outsource companies and shall implement the necessary and appropriate supervision, including inspections of the state of handling, in order to ensure the security control of personal information.

(4) Understanding of the external environment
When handling personal information overseas, Acids shall gather information to gain an understanding concerning the protection of personal information in the relevant country, and shall take measures for security control on this basis.

6. Restriction of Provision to a Third Party

Acids will not provide personal data to a third party without the prior consent of the individual, except where such provision is permitted by law.

7. Relation to Other Privacy Policies

In Acids, in addition to this Privacy Policy, other privacy policies may be established by each business segment. In such cases, such other privacy policies take priority over this Privacy Policy.

8. Continuous Improvements of the Regulations

Acids has established internal regulations concerning the protection of personal information and will continuously strive to improve these regulations through regular review.

9. Requests for disclosure, etc., of personal information

When Acids receives a request for the disclosure, correction, cessation of use, deletion, etc., of personal information, Acids will respond promptly after verifying the identity of the requesting individual through a prescribed procedure.
